Check in was slow. Elevator started jerking and making loud noises and got stuck at between 3-4 floor. We got trapped in between floors and when we called front desk lady said maintenance was on the way and hung up in my face. After about 15 minutes we decided to try to pry the door open because no one was coming. We managed to climb out between the floors after my husband hurt his hand pushing the floor down so we could get out. He is going to go to the doctor today because he is injured. The maintenance man showed up and said that they came out earlier to look at elevator and it shouldn’t have been in use. It was terrifying and we were never offered a single thing. We had to walk down 4 flights of stairs with our luggage & was given a downgraded room on the first floor but still had to pay for the 2 bd room suite on the 8th floor. It was a horrible experience and changed our entire trip. I understand it was no one’s fault but Hilton could have gave us that room for free since we had to downgrade or walk up n down 8 flights of stairs all weekend. We barely got a sorry and front desk was rude and almost mad at us for being traumatized. I stay in Hiltons all over and this was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Imagine starting your vacation with 30 minutes trapped in an elevator, hot, not knowing if anyone was coming or who. It was jerking and making noises. After my husband sees the doctor today and gets a hand cray we will probably contact a lawyer.

The room was nice except on the second night they did a very poor job of cleaning the room. The sheets were not changed and we didn't get clean glasses or a new liner for the ice bucket. We tried to use room service but the only printed menus were in the elevators. So you had to ride up and down the elevator to read the menu. I expect more from a Hilton company.

My husband and I have stayed here two years in a row for an anniversary trip to the Twin Cities. The staff here are extremely friendly. Growing up in the Twin Cities, I’m very familiar with “Minnesota Nice”—but these employees are legit so kind. We took advantage of the complementary shuttle to downtown for a concert at the Grand Casino Arena (old Xcel Energy Center—great feature!). Our rooms have always been clean and ready for us when we arrive. Check in & out is always easy! We will always stay here when we visit the TC!

Everyone is so nice!!! The service is fantastic and the hotel is clean. Excellent GM who was very accommodating. He and his team go above above and beyond for the guest. The food was so good as well. I had the breakfast buffet and a few things on their dinner menu. Honestly, this hotel really is top notch. 5-star treatment. Thank you for making my stay so nice!!

My friend had his wedding reception there and they did not have their room ready at 6 o'clock at night, which delayed the reception from starting. They only had one bartender when there was supposed to be two, and now they are claiming that there were extra guests, when in reality people were no shows and there were not unexpected guests. The hotel is just trying to get extra money out of them.

The hotel staff was phenomenal. They went above and beyond to help us. The hotel is slightly dated, but very clean and comfortable. My daughter and I felt very safe and had a great night's sleep!

I will never stay here again. The service was awesome but the room was gross. There was blood on the pillowcase so obviously I did not get clean pillowcases so that makes me think was the sheets or the towels clean. I feel like every new guest should have clean pillowcases and sheets. I don’t know if that person has lice or some thing else. They received one star because both me and my daughter felt very uncomfortable.

I am not a superstitious person at all, but I experienced some weird stuff at this hotel. I get on the elevator with a lady that said “5 please” and another who just pressed 4. We go up to 4, stop and the one got out. We go up to the next floor and it stops and we both get out. I see the lady open her door and walk in her room. I walk to my room only to see, it said 428 instead of 528. I am 100% confident about all of the details. If you are familiar with the Urban Legend “Phantom Floor”, this is what I think I experienced. It’s the only explanation I can think of.

This place feels like a scam. Parking is not included, breakfast is not included, they charge your card 50 dollars incidental before anything happens. With charges and fees you rack up closer to 200 a night and the McKnight restaurant attached is very very lacking in flavor for the prices they charge. Also the pool is on the colder side and smaller than the pictures and only goes to 4ft 6inches in depth also there was what looked to be dryer lint floating all around the bottom of the pool which was weird. The hot tub is warm but not hot.. the beds are decent, but the pillows go flat. I don't believe I will be back unless all other options are off the table

We stayed for the weekend on March 21, 22, and left the 23rd, 2025. First, I expected the room to be cleaner than it was. One of the biggest issues was that the grout in the shower had MOLD growing on it, as if the tile and grout of the shower had not been scrubbed in years. I was not alarmed too much by that, just kind of sucks that when you take a shower you are afraid of touching the tile wall because there is mold growing on it. But I didn't travel to hang out in the shower, so moving on. On the first full day we were there, the air conditioner started making a squealing sound. I alerted the hotel attendant and they sent maintenance to take care of it. We left for our planned activities, we came back to the room for a short rest, the air conditioner completely failed and whatever was wrong smelled like burnt wiring. I immediately alerted the front desk and expressed my concern. We were given a different room down the hall. Three things bothered me about the situation: First, the attendant was somewhat apathetic. Second, we had to pack up and move in the middle of our day. Third, it's kind of worrisome that there could have been an electric fire and who knows if the fire suppression would go off and soak everything, least to point out that the fumes were probably not that healthy to breathe. However, we left for our planned activity after switching rooms and did not get back until late. Went to sleep and woke up just in time to check out. Overall, this was not the worse stay I have had on our travels, but it's up there. Oh, and I could only think "why am I paying for parking in an unsecured lot?" - and I should have been made aware at the time of booking the reservation that I would have to deal with a completely separate company for parking. Beware of the PMC company's "terms of service" that are certainly not something I would agree to under independent circumstances.
