The Hampton Inn by Hilton Minneapolis/Eagan receives mixed reviews, with some guests praising its cleanliness, friendly service, and convenient location. However, recurring issues regarding room conditions, including mold, malfunctioning TVs, and unsanitary bathrooms, and inconsistent staff service are frequently cited.
One of the more run down Hamptons I’ve stayed at. Bed and room was okay. Worst part was the AC could not get the room cold. Stayed at 70° even with the AC cranked and set at 65°. Should have an emergency cool setting. Service was good. Breakfast was good. The tostadas were a good change up compared to the usual eggs and sausage.
We were picked up at the airport by James, He was friendly , respectful and made us feel welcome along with Alisa who checked us in. Everyone is helpful and housekeeping has the rooms clean and fresh. Breakfast is the best continental . If your looking for a hotel in this area I highly recommend you try this hotel.
This hotel is alright.. the rooms are always clean and I have no real complaints about staff, the pool is on the smaller side but works...wish there was a hot tub though!
Room at a very moldy smell to it. Very humid was the cause. If hotel chains would invest in a better air system it woulnt smell. Jill was great during my stay. Very helpful. The usb outlet was broken. She provided me a ac usb plug in. Hotel is dog friendly
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I checked in, the service was warm, professional, and welcoming. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and the bed was incredibly cozy—exactly what I needed for a restful night. I also appreciated the small touches, like the attention to detail in cleanliness and the amenities provided. Overall, both the room and the service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay, and I’ll certainly be back again!
Good breakfast in the morning, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Shuttle wasn’t always running but staff was kind enough to accommodate with complimentary Uber during hours when the shuttle should have been running. The pool was also very clean. No complaints.
This hotel was not the worst I've stayed at but definitely not stellar. When we got into our hotel room it smelled like pee and was stagnant. There was also an empty drink bottle on the floor by the bed and a public hair in the sheets. The AC did work fine but the room and shower was grungy. We did appreciate the shuttle service to the hotel the next day, but then they didn't pick us up on time because the driver did not have the updated list of traveler times from the front desk which was frustrating and he had to help other guests who were late. It was easy to get a room last minute when our flight was canceled though. Overall if you need a cheap-ish place to stay due to flight delays this is OK but you are definitely gambling with cleanliness and service.
The rooms are clean, but smaller than I expected. We checked in late, and no one seemed to be at the front counter. It was clear that the worker was resting in the back office after I said, "excuse me." It was also strange that they had two rooms booked for my one reservation. Not sure why, but it was resolved without issue, just something unexpected The staff are friendly and the breakfast is satisfying. The location was perfect for our trip, it was easy to get to after exiting the highway. The airport is nearby, but the rooms are impressively quiet overnight.
I use this location for my stays once a year. I continue to come back because of pricing, cleanliness and treatment during our stays. It's complementary breakfast is abundant, the staffing pleasent and the location easy to find. As long as things stay that way, each stay, I will continue to book my rooms here.
Fave stars! It is very convenient to have the shuttle to the airport and also free parking. Helpful staff, nice rooms, and overall quality experience!
