Guests found this hotel convenient for airport transfers and business trips, praising the shuttle service and breakfast. However, frequent complaints arose regarding rude front desk staff, inconsistent housekeeping, and maintenance issues like gym mold and ice-filled refrigerators.
Very very rude and lazy staff. Dirty and outdated rooms. The sheets and towels did not seem dirty. The carpet, blinds and furniture seemed/looked/smelled dirty. The front desk staff was very unpleasant and rude. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant and friendly. The staff at the food area was amazing. The breakfast was very good. Whoever hires for the kitchen should also hire for the front desk.
Great hotel for a great price! The employees were so nice and accommodating. The hotel is nice and beds are comfy. We did park and fly and the desk concierge got us Starbucks while we were waiting. (At 4 am) The driver to the airport is so nice and had lots of funny antidotes. Would definitely stay again!
The fire alarm was on all night staff wasn't very helpful my shampoo body wash and conditioner were all out the bathroom looked dirty i couldn't use the pool or gym they turned off the water so I couldn't brush my teeth or take a shower. Just a horrible experience
I frequently stay at properties around the area due to my job, I’m titanium and know enough to say this property constantly falls short. I prefer the Fairfield properties in Bloomington and Mendota. They were both a bit more expensive for the evening so I settled on this property. I’d been here before, and I’d had a very unpleasant experience with a manager than no longer works there. I’d decided to give it another go. The room is decent enough, spacious and clean with a balcony. There are no microwaves. The property doesn’t offer a complementary breakfast (which is common with Courtyard). My biggest complaint is still staff, which is most important at any establishment. It’s not that the check in was unpleasant, hence the TWO stars on service. My complaint is with the shuttle. Aside from my terrible interaction with the manager some time ago, the shuttle had left without me once before when I needed to go to the airport. The person that checked me in that time admitted to putting me down under the wrong time though I’d called down TWICE to make sure it was right! I gave grace to try this properly again, and the same thing happened! I come down 3-5 minutes before scheduled departure, and the shuttle has already left me. No apologies from staff though the time clearly read BEFORE the time it was supposed to leave! Every property I stay at normally checks the list, calls the room if you’re not down.. does SOMETHING to insure no one is left behind. This is unacceptable, especially when you only offer service on the hour. In addition, no one at check in tells you to be down earlier than departure time. (Even the airlines tell you how early boarding will end before departure) So unfortunately, despite other “okay” things about the property, the most important necessities fall short. The $16 Lyft cost makes the extra cheddar worth it to stay at other Bonvoy properties in the area.
I stayed here for a week. On day one I went to get in a workout and the gym stunk like mold so bad that I couldn't complete my workout. I told the front desk and they said they would address it. Their solution was an air ionizer. It was clearly an issue with the AC unit. By the end of my week there, the gym still had the same odor. Upon arrival, I also went to make use of the in room refrigerator. The freezer on it had at least an inch and a half thick build of if ice on it. Indicating that no one had really looked at it in weeks. I asked them to bring in a replacement the next morning. Maintanence apparently came in and looked at it and left it. When I came back for the day, I asked them again to bring up a different unit. They did. But I was the one to turn off the frozen unit and clean up the water as the giant ice block melted.
We chose this hotel due to its proximity and partnership with our venue (Mendakota Country Club) and it was one of the most important vendors in our wedding lineup as we had 120 guests from out of state. This hotel exceeded our expectations by a country mile and went above and beyond to ensure our guests and families were taken care of and helped whenever needed!!! Front desk staffers Nayesha, Ahmed and Gabby were warm, inviting and handed out welcome bags to our guests upon their arrival; head housekeeper Lisa was more than accommodating, getting early check-ins processed and rooms turned over quickly as we had guests arriving at all hours throughout the day. The hotel’s open seating in the lobby made for a party scene in and of itself, with family and friend groups mingling throughout their stay, having drinks and bites to eat from the hotel bar, and enjoying themselves. The real star of the show is the airport shuttle – this shuttle was so quick to arrive at all hours and even drove some of our guests to restaurants in the area for dinner. The shuttle drivers were courteous, kind and physically helpful to the father of the groom who has mobility challenges. While we did experience a tougher start with the Sales Representative, the weekend experience with onsite staff more than made up for it and we are so glad we chose the Courtyard MSP Airport as our hotel for the wedding weekend!

This is a fine place to crash for the night. Our room was clean but rather run down. Everything in the hotel was kind of beat up. We were in and out in about 10 hours so we didnt spend much time exploring the place or area.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is just perfect . Close to the highways and airport but not loud. I would stay here again when I am up in that area. I have tried a few hotels in this area, but found this one to be the one I would recommend.
I missed my connection and booked this hotel for the night. They need to clone Betty, the night front desk person. She is attentive, polite and the sweetest human. The airport shuttle runs 24 hours a day and Tim and Kathy, the shuttle drivers were informative and made you feel important. This hotel did an excellent job hiring their team. The room was great with comfortable beds. My new go to hotel when I need to overnight near MSP.
