The Saint Paul Hotel is such a beautiful place to stay. I absolutely love the embodiment of history and the antique, timeless atmosphere throughout the property. It feels elegant and classic in the best way. The service was excellent from start to finish — from the concierge to valet, everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The conference rooms were great as well, which is where I spent most of my stay. They were well organized, comfortable, and perfect for meetings. The rooms themselves were spotless and felt very luxurious, with thoughtful touches like great snacks and drinks and even a robe in the bathroom. Everything felt clean, polished, and well cared for. Already looking forward to my next visit — and next time I definitely plan to check out the café downstairs! P.S. you can connect to wifi and fast Netflix etc. to the in-room TVs!

The room was very nice. Reception staff (both the at valet and at front desk).left a lot to be desired. The receptionist that checked us in was VERY impersonal. As a result the first impression was not good at all and left an initial impression which was quite unwelcoming. The reality is the rest of our stay was quite nice but initial impression (which is so very important in the service industry was less than standard.

The view is nice but 1). The floors are uneven, which is bad for hip health. 2). The shower head in my room is broken. I cannot switch rooms because the hotel is full. I spoke with Gary at the front desk at 2 pm to inform him that I needed someone to fix the shower head. When I returned after 5pm it was still not fixed yet and I informed him again to send someone to fix it. He said, again that he would. I also informed Ryan that I needed the shower head fixed. He said he would send someone. It is now 6:30pm and I have received no update. 3). I informed both Gary and Abby at the front desk around 2:49pm that I needed housekeeping to go up and take out the trash as well as bring water. When I arrived back to my room after 5pm now of this had been done. I called the desk and was informed by Ryan that housekeeping had left for the day. I then returned down to the desk and spoke to Gary who informed me that that Ryan was in his way to do it himself. Ryan came up and took care of the trash. This was when I showed him the shower head issue, at which time he assured me that he would send maintenance to fix it. 6:33pm with no updates and nobody has come. Yikes!

Staff here (especially valet and doormen) make the stay exceptional. Beds are just so-so for comfort. Pillows are nice. Fun to experience the nostalgic charm. Amazing location for the Ordway, Palace and other theaters as well as the Xcel Center.

My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome party the night before our wedding at the St. Paul Hotel. We also had all of our out of town guests, and our entire bridal party, stay at the hotel for the wedding weekend. We cannot speak highly enough about Selin, who helped us from beginning to end, with planning and executing our rehearsal dinner and really making the process so easy and efficient. The staff the day of our event went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and Scott, the head server, helped keep everything running smoothly when we got slightly behind in itinerary to make sure we got to our welcome party on time. The food was also top notch! Our stay was wonderful and we got many compliments on the hotel, the staff, and the overall accommodations, from all the guests who stayed there. You also can’t beat the St. Paul Hotel at Christmas time. We would recommend the St. Paul Hotel to anyone who is looking to host a wedding, wedding event, or any special gathering.. Thank you to all for helping make our wedding weekend experience the very best!

Second time we have been to this hotel. Great memories with our kids from 10 years ago and now again. The staff is extremely attentive. Especially the young man who works as a barista at the coffee shop in the lobby. He was amazing. The only recommendation I have for the hotel is the valet parking gets backed up on the weekends during checkout time. By backed up, I mean, very backed up with very long wait times. Other than that, it was simply amazing.

This review is for the afternoon tea. I have been to tea four times - twice for holiday, once regular, and once for Mother's Day. The ambiance is always delightful. The staff is also delightful. The ticket process is great. I give a 4 only because the food is just OK. Photo with one of the 5 star servers, Joanne!

I really truly wanted to love this experience which overall, it was an ok time. Booked a room as Ive never stayed in the iconic hotel. Valet at $40 seemed a bit steep but delightfully easy check-in was a breeze and everyone friendly. Ooof. The room. I can only liken the smell to a grandmas fart. It was like the smell from an antique perfume bottle fished out of the closet of an estate sale mixed with years of tobacco tar seeping through wallpaper and dust. The room was dated, for sure. Mostly cleanish with some mystery grease/booger on the baseboard directly in front of the closet and dust lingering on all the fixtures. My allergies were flaring almost instantly. Slippers and robe were fun but the robe was SO stiff and scratchy, luxe attempt failed delivery. Restaurant was booked until 8pm which was fine, was told to hit up the lobby bar (which was packed) waited for around 15 minutes, got a seat and then was informed they were not serving food that evening. There was no mention of this anywhere, online or otherwise. The front desk and restaurant hostesses suggested the lobby bar. Bummer. Dinner at the restaurant was ok. Seated quickly when the reservation came up. Hostesses were so friendly! Server seemed irritated I was there, I get it, they were busy. I ordered a Cesar salad and fries. Salad was soggy, completely saturated with dressing and the fries were burnt to a crisp & cold, I definitely got the bottom of an old batch. The dessert was good. At night I turned on the fan in the room and it made a wheezing sound continuously which I could ignore but would likely irritate others. Omg there was also a wedding and I was placed on that parties floor so I had to listen to people running around having a good time all. Night. Long. Like good for them but this was a whole Wednesday night lol I was tired the next morning. Coffee in the lobby bar was 10/10 perfection, barista was quick and made a great latte. Check out was quick and easy. Overall a funny stay I had to laugh at how I hyped up this experience in my head. Fun stay, it was okay but not worth the $$ imo.

What a nice hotel. My experience was excellent. Fair price for a beautiful historic hotel with old school swanky vibes. I came for work, but would stay again in a heartbeat. Top notch service from all employees.

We REALLY enjoyed our trip to the St Paul Hotel. LSS - The rooms were okay, just okay. Water pressure in the shower, amazing! Not impressed with the dirty washcloths found at the head of my bed, but I also didn't say anything.
